This weekend was the second race in the NSRRA 2021 league, the Virtual Potters 10.
I combined my race run with a trip to a DIY shop a couple of miles away, so had to pick a somewhat convoluted route. I left Pelsall along the old railway line heading for Rushall, then folloowed the road back to Pelsall, I rejoined the railway line to avoid crossing a main road but mostly followed the road to Brownhills, turning right and heading (slowly) up the hill to Shire Oak, I did a couple of loops around the residential streets of Walsall Wood before completing my 10 miles on the canal bridge next to Screwfix.
I had started my run a little too fast, but I’m quite happy with my overall time of 1:27’45, probably my fastest 10 miles outside of a real race for a couple of years.
TLDR: 10 Miles in 1:27'45
